Your playground for curation

Instagram is an endless source of inspiration, but also a lucrative marketing platform for small businesses and people that are themselves a brand. As a former power user, I found myself spending hours regularly trying to achieve perfection with every decision. Through my own challenges, I saw an opportunity to ease the experience for Instagram users.

First to market

What started as a personal prototyping tool eventually became the simplest—and first-of-its-kind—app on the market to help with core, everyday Instagram tasks that has maintained a very loyal costumer base.

Taking on every aspect of the project helped me empathize with my collaborators and improve how I communicate and work with other disciplines across other projects.

Manage your brand and grow your influence

Curate and complement your growing Instagram feed with seamless organization and planning. Mosaico helps craft and elevate your Instagram aesthetic. With over 1 billion other users on Instagram, you need to work to stand out. It’s your world, make it perfect.

Efficiently manage your content, captions and tags

Post new content to your feed from Mosaico but also have the ability to do bulk uploads, updates, and quick drag-and-drop positioning to transform your feed into a work of art. Keep track of your commonly-used tags ,and save Tag Clouds that populates your caption in one tap.

Prototype and share to get an expert opinion

Instagrammers love to play with different layouts. Drafts provide endless possibilities and give you the freedom to share your pictures with friends and colleagues via text or email for feedback and approval. You don’t even need to be a user of Mosaico as the link will display the feed in a browser.

Posting made easy—never schedule a post again

Having to set the time for each post is both time-consuming and unnecessary. Plus, users respond better to a consistent flow of content. Customize your weekly posting pattern once, and let Auto Pilot do the work.

Helping users maximize engagement

Few users have insight into why certain posts do better than others. Giving guidelines on aesthetics would be a hard task, but serving up a heat map of when your users interact with your content provides a great tool for how to set up your most optimal times to post.

Maximizing adoption with thoughtful onboarding

With the goal of creating the most user-friendly onboarding experience, I removed any potential blockers that would hinder the conversion rate. For instance, rather than asking for information up front before users had a reason to understand—let alone trust—Mosaico, I organically wove in requests for information on an as-needed basis. An animated UI made the step-by-step onboarding process entertaining and easy-to-follow, and users are never required to create a profile if they don't want to.

User Guides

As a new user of Mosaico, you are presented with a short guide upon entry to every new section of the app. This pulls up an overlay where you swipe between cards that focus on the core functionality to get you started. These guides are also available in your main menu in case you get stuck later.
